While I've been working on a new CompactCMS version a lot lately, I won't be able to release it before I leave for a couple of days for some well deserved (I find
) time off. That is: I could release it, but I won't since then I will not be able to offer quick support for minor issues that come with new versions. I did however put up a
beta demo site where you can test the new environment. I invite you all to test drive it and report findings. If you rather test the new version on your local host (due to speed, etc) please use the
latest trunk SVN revision (50) which is equal to the beta demo source.
Just play around with the beta demo. You'll see for example that a second menu is included within the template just for you to see how it works. The server might be slow at some times (I'm planning on switching), but please cope with it for the time being.
Thanks for sticking around and remember: I won't look at my e-mail (and everything related to it) for at least one week, so try not to flood me

P.s.: I've announced this topic because I'd like to have as many beta experiences as possible. I won't make a habit out of this.
