I know it's always subjective, but I need the design to be somewhat attractive so that new visitors think "let's give that demo a try!". I don't want to scare them aware, without ever having the chance to prove the power of CompactCMS

. The shifting is by the way optical illusion. It's only due to bad screenshotting of my side. I started at a certain point at the left, then saw I had to include the top menu items, which made it a bit off. The "real thing" is nicely centered.
But I think you're right, if I like green it shouldn't hold me back. You don't think it's too much, too crowded?

P.s.: I had to adapt the double click behavior due to the fact that cut&paste script I used for the edit-in-place function didn't allow for non-latin based characters. So I decided to rewrite it myself using the current JS framework. If you now double click and then double click again you'll see odd behavior. Now imagine that behavior with a single click
