Hi Kent (aka Simpsons addict ;)?),

Just to let you know: I've found a bug that annoys me very much which I think can only be solved by creating a integrated user management system. "Luckily" there has been no one to report my own found bug yet, but my own experience, earlier posts and now your post do convince me that actually integrating user management could solve quite some difficulties.

So thanks for contributing :)!

Xander.

I was just writing to you...

It works in the sense that now it asks me for the password,  but...

...even if I set the variable in the config.inc.php, when I write the user name and psw to the dialog box, suddenly the dialog box popup again..and again...and again, so I must press "cancel" and I cannot enter in the admin area...

Did this ever get fixed?

I'm experiencing this issue on a server which has worked fine on 1.3, but not 1.4. I don't think it's running CGI.

Hi Chris,

It didn't really. It's a Flash "inconvenience", which is why I have decided to switch to a more extensive user management (with database). It's finished here locally, but I'm also trying to get some other features in, before I have to leave for my field study in Africa. If anyone is curious after this, you could use revision 11 on the SVN.

Cheers,
Xander.
